My voicenote addiction made me realize I miss blogging…

I started my blog White Lighting all those jillion years ago because I just LOVE to talk about culture- fashion, celebrity, design, music. I still use my instagram stories as an extension of that (why am i scared to post on my tiktok? i need to get over it), and I am a voicenote enthusiast who has been known to send 10 minutes or more to the group text…but I miss posting in a slightly longer form. Just slightly. With pictures and links and info.

So here we are.

So…enter substack? Here’s my new space to post. I hope you’ll follow, I hope you’ll share, I hope you’ll comment, I hope you’ll LIKE IT! I’ll be talking about whatever is catching my fancy that week - style, social media, home stuff, thrifting, design. I’m going to post once a week, maybe 2 if something really STRIKES ME.

Pray tell, what is Daytiming / Whomst are The Daytimers?

Daytiming is the lifestyle where you are freer during the day, you do most of your life during the day. We are taking on clients, or maybe we are between jobs. Or maybe being at home is our job. We get a brekkie with our friend because she daytimes too, we do some meetings, we take a hot girl walk. Maybe there is a late coffee with another friend, or you bring your laptop to another daytiming household to get some shit done together.
We do all the things during the DAY.
Aside from weeknights out with friends, Snug As A Bug In A Rug Hours start around 5 - cozy clothes and winding down. Bedtime is as early as your family will allow you and then you do a skincare routine and read your book or watch tiktok. Please note: your Daytiming may vary but it’s a varied sisterhood, there is room for all!
